Agronomic and Soils testing Services Sought

Mar 13, 2014

BMRG and BCCA are currently seeking requests for tender for the supply of agronomic and soils testing and analysis services for landholders in the North Burnett.

These services form part of the On-Farm Productivity and Riparian Recovery Program which is supporting primary producing areas severely impacted by flooding following Ex-Tropical Cyclone Oswald 2013, and is funded by the Queensland and Commonwealth Governments through natural disaster relief and recovery arrangements.

The Burnett Catchment Care Association (BCCA) is coordinating the delivery of this North Burnett Soil Health project.

The program is seeking the services of an individual or company with substantial agronomic skills and knowledge to undertake soils sampling, analysis and follow up agronomic advice chemically, biologically and nutritionally, where required.

The overall objective of this service is to support landholders to recover and improve soil management and prevent further degradation following damage from Ex-Tropical Cyclone Oswald.
