Now in its fifth year, the competition garnered more than 300 entries. The competition also had a specific remote camera capture category which highlighted how this technology is being used in the fight against the impacts of pest species on Australia's wildlife.

The winning images featured many of the countries feral pest species, including wild dogs, feral pigs, foxes, feral cats, camels, buffalo and even Indian Myna birds.

The winning images all tell a story about the environmental and agricultural impacts invasive animals create as well as capturing the interactions between invasive animals and other species.
