Community Partners
Community groups and volunteers are an essential component the work we do and provide the dedication and expertise needed to achieve onground outcomes.
Collaborating with and supporting communities gives those best placed to understand the issues and who most benefit from natural resource management our programs - local communities and individuals - to be involved and to actively participate.

Landcare Groups
The Landcare network in the Burnett Mary Region is made up of a number of local groups who play an essential role in helping to manage our areas of natural beauty and significance and mitigate threats to our biodiversity assets.
Primarily a volunteer network, our Landcare groups are made up of dedicated and motivated individuals who provide their time and expertise to address our region's most pressing environmental concerns.
Our Regional Landcare Facilitator program assists Landcare groups with their activities. To get in touch with your local Landcare group please contact one of our Regional Landcare Facilitators
