Farmers Caring for the Reef and Farms

Queensland Goat Producers Inc (QGoat) will hold a Farmers Day at Apple Tree Creek on Saturday, 17 February from 8.30am to 3.30pm and everybody is invited.

Theme for the event is “Farmers Caring for the Reef and Farms”.

The day will give landholders from all rural sectors the opportunity and tools to develop their Biosecurity Plan and learn about the grazing land condition framework, also to meet their regional support network and other farmers. Community building and networking are key parts of the day.

There will be speakers from DAF on biosecurity, Nutramix on animal nutrition, BMRG on programs for landholders, and producers on meat goats, dairy and miniature goats. Participants will be able to purchase lunch on the day, provided by and in support of Motorcyclists Advocating Child Empowerment Wide Bay (MACE).
